The Section also arranges labor lunches (or graduate lunches) during the year. These are given generally by graduate students who have a work in progress that they would like to present and receive input on. Occasionally a faculty member or researcher from another institution may also present a paper. These lunches are informal and are attended by graduate students and faculty from both the IR Section and other departments.
