It is with great pleasure to announce, that after an exhastive international search, Linda Oppenheim is the new Industrial Relations (IR) Librarian.  The IR Library was organized in 1922, coinciding with the establishment of Princeton University's Industrial Relations Section. It ranks as the oldest special collection of its type among universities in the United States.

Linda brings 35 years of professional experience at Princeton University to the position.  IR has a wide variety of interests and the broad array of directly relevant positions Linda has had will contribute strongly to the Section and the Library.  For the last 16 years, Linda has been a member of the Social Science Reference Center team.  She has been responsible for New Jersey Documents, is a vital member of the Data and Statistical Services Advisory Group, and has assisted in providing reference for Industrial Relations over this period. She has written and/or edited almost all of the Industrial Relations publication "Selected References" over this period.  She also served as the project manager for CPANDA from 2004-2007. During Linda's career, she also gained valuable management experience as the Woodrow Wilson School Librarian from 1978 to 1989.  She has served as the Acting Politics Selector, Acting Anglo American Bibliographer, Acting Assistant Interlibrary Loan Librarian, and as the Assistant Industrial Relations Librarian (1990-1991). She is very active in the Documents Association of New Jersey.
