tex2.dta The file tex2.dta contains a data set with the data used in Table 1b, Table 2, Table 3, and Table 4, columns 3 and 4 of Katz and Krueger (1992). The data are described below. The question number under the source refers to the location on the Summer 1991 questionnaire. See footnote 9 for a description of the wage variable. lpop and unemp are from the 1988 City and County Data Book. The variables lchang, vchang, and frgchng are character variables. They are coded as follows: c=constant, r=reduced, i=increased. Means of the variables are on the next page.
